On behalf of the Scarborough-Rouge
River Federal Liberal
Association, I’d
like to personally welcome
you to our website.
It was designed to provide
you with a comprehensive
overview of our organization
and to help enable you
to learn what our riding
association has to offer.
Our mandate is to promote
every aspect of Liberalism
not only within our
community, but across
the nation.

Scarborough-Rouge River is without doubt a
staunch, Liberal stronghold. We are immensely
proud of the fact that we are arguably one
of the most multi-cultural ridings in the
country, a fact that is reflected not only
in our grassroots membership, but on our executive
board as well.
We also take great pride in the fact that
approximately 50% of our executive board are
women and our riding boasts both an active
Women and Youth Club.
Our “team approach” was a major
factor in six consecutive Liberal Party wins
in the riding and certainly contributed to
our M.P., Derek Lee. In the 2006 Federal Election
Derek obtained both the largest majority and
highest percentage of vote among all Liberals
elected to the House of Commons in the nation.
We hope you will take the time to explore
our site in its entirety, as I know it will
assist with any questions you may have about
our riding association. I would encourage
